Partnership Between Engineering & Management

Today’s knowledge economy is competitive and fast-moving. The ability to quickly move new ideas and customer solutions to the market is essential to business, and getting ahead today often means combining management know-how with technical expertise. The College of Engineering and the Eller College of Management have partnered to provide students with many ways to achieve that in-demand combination of experience.

The Engineering Management Program, offered through the College of Engineering, teaches the fundamentals of economic analysis and the time value of money for engineers. The McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship at the Eller College attracts many engineering students who want to understand the process of turning innovative ideas into marketable realities. And the Management of Technology course, taught each spring semester, provides practical experience and perspective in the challenging and complex world of technology management.
